Panama City is tropical year-round. Expect warm temperatures (mid-80s °F / 29 °C) with high humidity. Bring light, breathable clothing (it gets HOT!).

A valid passport is required, but no visa is needed for stays under 180 days. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.

Panama is mostly smoke free. Like in the US, you will have designated smoking areas located in open air spaces.

We can only accommodate guests listed on your invitation. We hope you understand!

Major credit/debit cards are accepted in Panama, however make sure to have some spare cash. Panama uses USD, along with one local coin (make sure you spend/exchange these before leaving).

Many people working in hospitality and tourism in Panama City speak English, but there may be times when Google Translate will come in handy.

Tipping is appreciated but not expected. In restaurants, a 10% tip is standard if not already included. Small tips are also welcomed for service staff and drivers.

With Uber affordable and accessible everywhere there’s no need. Better to avoid parking fees given how connected the city is. You’d end up paying more to park than the Uber ride.
